Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actor and comedian. She is most notable for her tenure as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 through 2002. She's since starred as one of the cast members in ABC Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto or the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her acting career at Northwestern University. She initially trained in voice, but then switched to theater after becoming involved in an improv comedy troupe that was on campus. This passion has carried her through a number of roles supporting such as the overly-controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the zany Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite. She has appeared in telenovelas on films and television programs like Eastbound & Down on HBO, Capadocia for Amazon and Goliath. Reguera is a native of Veracruz, Mexico. Nena Reguera worked as a television reporter and journalist following her being given the title of Miss Veracruz. Reguera first began ballet and then began studying the arts of performance at the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
