Annet Mahendru
Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian and English as well as French Persian and Hindi. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian and Indian. In her early teens, she created a choreography that gained her an appearance on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden who transforms into a lively Indian dancer. When she graduated at New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. After high school, she attended classes in acting at HB but left for improv in Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father, who lived in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her family relocated into East Meadow New York, together with her father after she turned 13 and stars along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. The actress is most famous for her role as the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
