Julie Chen Moonves is the host of Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator as well as one of the original hosts of The Talk. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for her work. Her true love was when she added writing to her duties, and was awarded an Emmy for her work. Also, she was awarded the Emmy for hosting and outstanding comedy talk show. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 until 2010. Her previous roles included anchoring the CBS Morning News and The Early Show. Chen Moonves was assigned to Cairo following the events of 9/11. There, she tracked her down and spoke with the father who led hijackers to an eye-opening, fascinating interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news programme which featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was an editor at WDTN TV Dayton which was based in Dayton in Dayton, Ohio (1995-1997). While completing her last academic year at the college, she was an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and served as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news channel). As a desk-assistant for ABC News late night broadcast Nightline she was a part of the team that worked with Ted Koppel. He remains among her top journalists. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special in 1992, which focused on the Los Angeles riots, worked in conjunction with Koppel.
